The woman’s final of US Open between Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters would be long remembered for the controversial outburst of Serena against the line woman for giving a wrong call. Having lost the first set, Serena had her back against the wall in the second. The set was evenly poised with Serena serving at 5-6 (15-30). Anything could have happened at that time. But a sudden release of strong emotion ended Serena’s title defense at US OPEN in a bizarre manner. This incident, nearly took away the light from one of the greatest returns in modern tennis by Kim Clijters. Every one loses their temper at one point or the other. Moreover, it is not new to see a sports person to lose their temper during a high voltage clash. But it is really great to see, Serena realize her mistake and immediately apologize after the match.
